Trophy Cupcakes and Party and Molly Moon’s Homemade Ice Cream were two of the three finalists named in the King County Executive’s Small Business of the Year Award, and will be honored during an awards ceremony today (October 12) in Bellevue.
This is the first annual Executive’s Small Business Award Program, where King County Executive Dow Constantine recognizes small businesses (with 50 employees or less) that demonstrate, “The tenacity, perspicacity, and audacity it takes to successfully operate a small business,” according to the King County Website. More information can be found here.
“It truly is an honor to be recognized as one of the top three small businesses in King County,” said Trophy Cupcakes and Party owner Jennifer Shea. “This nomination is testament to the fact that you really can turn your passion into a fulfilling career.”
Congrats to both great businesses of tasty treats, and great community friends.
