This Saturday, November 5 beginning at 9:00am, the Wallingford Community Senior Center (WCSC) will host Wallingford’s first neighborhood-based CPR and First Aid training. The class is brought to you by the Wallingford Community Preparedness Initiative and will take place at the Wallingford Community Senior Center in the Good Shepherd Center (4649 Sunnyside Avenue North). The class begins at 9:00am and ends at 1:00pm, and from 1:00pm to 2:30 you can stay for an optional certification and testing.
Kathleen Cromp over at the WCSC writes:
We want to create a strong base of knowledge & skills across the neighborhood. If you haven’t recently had CPR & First Aid training, please consider taking this course.
We’re fortunate to have Joel McCulloch as the course instructor– Joel is a Wallingford neighbor, member of community preparedness steering committee, emergency transport nurse, and certified CPR/First Aid instructor.
The fee for the class is $35 per person ($30 for WCSC members) and an additional $5 for the optional certification and testing. Pre-registration is required, and you can send email at register@wallingfordseniors.
