Sometimes you run a story just because of the delightful juxtaposition of unlikely ideas. Then you search Flickr for a picture to illustrate the story, and your day is complete.
Case in point, Wallingford resident and ASUW Experimental College Director Rachel Stoermer wrote the following:
I was hoping you could post an announcement about the classes we’re offering in Wallingford this quarter. The quarter officially starts on Monday, but new classes will start throughout the quarter. The following classes are being held in Wallingford:
- Basic Use/Care of your Sewing Machine (Saturday, 10/29)
- Use/Care of your Serger/Overlock Machine (Saturday, 10/29)
- Awareness Through Movement: the Feldenkrais Method (Wednesdays, 10/12 – 12/07)
- Beginning Chinese Weapons (Tuesday – Thursday, 10/18-11/17)
If you somehow end up taking all four classes, you lead a very interesting life.
