Great neighbors of Wallingford! It’s time once again to rejoice in the absolute wurst smell of the neighborhood! The Great Wallingford Wurst Festival is next Friday and Saturday, September 16 and 17th at Saint Benedict School (4811 Wallingford Avenue North).
And lo, the Festival has a fantastic live music lineup this year, featuring the Wurst music by The Lost River Band, Caspar Babypants, and Dudley Manlove Quartet who will rock the block. Want more? I’ll give you some of the Wurst details:
One of the most vibrant neighborhood celebrations in Seattle, the Wurst Festival features a variety of delicious foods, sweet shop, inflatable rides, rock climbing wall, games and prizes, craft vendors, new and used book sales, a raffle and a beer garden. Admission to this extraordinary community event is free! Proceeds from the Great Wallingford Wurst Festival benefit St. Benedict School, a non-profit elementary & middle school, serving the community since 1908.
Hours for Friday, September 16: 4pm-10pm. Beer Garden open until Midnight.
