Don’t let the post-Labor Day-here-comes-the-dang-rainy-season blues keep you indoors just yet. The weather is fine this week, and Wednesday will be a great day to get out and rub elbows with neighbors because Wallingford has four – yes, four – separate events you can attend on Wednesday. Enjoy them all!
- Wallingford Farmers Market at Meridian Park. 3:30 pm – 7 pm. Curious as to what’ll be available this week? Check out Zachary Lyons’ “What’s Fresh Now“. (Psst. The market operates the rest of this month, through 9/28.)
- Wallingford Community Council meeting (7:00 – 9:00 pm, Good Shepherd Center, Room 202). Wallyhood has the details here, and they include the Meridian Playground sculpture fix.
- Monthly Community Preparedness meeting, 5:30pm. Wallingford Community Senior Center in the Good Shepherd Center at 4649 Sunnyside Ave N. You can attend the meeting and still catch the Art Walk before the end of the evening.
- Wallingford Art Walk. Featured artists and where you can see their work are listed here.
I hope to see some of you there!
