Folks over at the Wallingford COMMUNITY Senior Center are preparing to spruce up their location a bit and they’re asking the community if anyone has some painting supplies they’d care to donate for the project:
This Friday, September 16th, is United Way Day of Caring, when volunteers from around King County come together to help local nonprofits, schools, and parks. WCSC is getting a team of volunteers from Nordstrom to help paint the lobby, front desk, and livingroom – it’s going to be a bright and beautiful transformation! In preparation for Friday’s event, we are asking for loans or donations of the following painting supplies:
– blue painter’s tape
– tarps or floor coverings
– sand paper
– wall sponges and rags
– brushes of all sizes (clean and/or new)
– roller covers, trays, and tray liners
– clean, empty large yogurt containersEven if you can only spare a half-roll of painter’s tape from your last painting project, we appreciate the donation as it offsets supply costs to WCSC. Please bring all supplies to the Center by 12pm Thursday, 9/15, and clearly label anything you want returned. Thank you!
