We’ve received two separate requests to post information on some lost pets in the neighborhood. Oddly enough, one is named Theodore and the other, Teddy:
Hilary wrote to tell us her dog, Teddy, has gone missing:
This is Teddy, he went missing midday on Wednesday in the Wallingford neighborhood on 40th ave near Irwins Coffee Shop. He is a white standard poodle. He’s bigger now than in this picture. He has a blue collar but no tags on.
If you see Teddy, please call Hilary (206) 419-0009.
Here’s the information about Theodore, the cat:
LOST CAT: Black/Brown Long hair Tabby named Theodore, up to date vaccines, Licensed & Chipped but NO collar.
Last seen on Saturday Sept 24th @ 7pm on his back porch @ 38th & Bagley.
He is not an overnight outdoor cat so we are very worried about him. He is very friendly and inquisitive and likes to “visit” inside peoples homes and garages. We think the storms have him hiding someplace sheltered. Please consider opening garages or sheds or under porch storage areas to see if Theodore or any other cat has taken up refuge and have gotten trapped. His human siblings are distraught and his feline brother lonely! Please call Sarah with any information 206-300-4502 sarahsuhadolnik AT gmail.com
If you can’t reach Hilary about Teddy please call Lorraine at 206.280.6344. Everything is helpful!
I saw the signs for Teddy on 46th and Meridian yesterday. This morning I went to Woodland Park to walk my dog and saw Teddy near the parking lot. I followed him to the zoo, alerted their staff, and then left to find the flyer and call the number from the poster. Just heard back and Teddy is home, safe and sound.
Oh, that’s wonderful news, Dan! Thanks for letting us know.
Teddy has been found and reunited with his owner! I would like to thank everyone who called, e-mailed, and attempted to chase him down. I can not believe how helpful everyone has been and how many people tried to track down my crazy dog! We are so appreciative of the incredible kindness and amazing support of Seattleites. Thank you all so much!
Yay for Teddy! Will keep an eye out for Ted down here in the lower ‘hood as well!
