Update: Saturday, September 24, Susan wrote to tell us that Tamara has been found and is back home. She was spotted at the Zoo, and the Zoo Keeper saw the ad on Craigslist and called to let Susan know she was safe. Susan added, “Thanks to all the neighbors who were looking out for her.”
Susan wrote to tell us that her sister’s dog has gone missing:
My sister’s dog got out of the house while we were at the fair yesterday. She has a KC license and a rabies tag but no other information on her. Her name is Tamara & she is very shy. If you see her please call me at 206 353 0596 We are all heartbroken & worried.
Tamara was last seen around 49th and Wallingford so if you see her wandering around, please give Susan a call.
Okay so what’s the dog look like and what type??
She is a Havenese and was wearing both a collar with 2 tags on it and a pink harness. A picture is attached. She is very shy and scares easily. She only eats when my sister hands feeds her [she was a rescue] and she hates rain.
The Missing Pet Partnership has good suggestions – check out http://www.missingpetpartnership.org/
They are based in Federal Way and also offer tracking services.
Good luck!
My partner & I will keep out eyes peeled down here in Lower Wallingford!
