Looking for something a little bit different this Thursday, peut-être? French Pianist Alexandre Saada will be performing at the Good Shepherd Center (4649 Sunnyside Ave N), 7:30 – 9:00 pm, hosted by the Alliance Française de Seattle:
Saada recieved classical training in Avignon, and continued his studies with Michel Petrucciani, Daniel Goyone and Serge Forté. Through his involvement with a wide variety of musical projects, Saada broadened his musical horizons beyond the classical. After touring South America, he recently performed in various renowned clubs in Paris as well as in the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. His earlier album “Eveil” recorded in trio with Chris Jennings and David Eleouet has been on the play lists of Air France flights.
When reviewing Saada’s recent solo album”Present”, renowned pianist and composer Roque Alsina states “This brilliant and inspired musician and improviser introduces us to a dense yet delicate universe converging a rare pianistic discussion of harmonic beauty”.
Travelling throughout rock, jazz and improvised music, Alexandre Saada walks down a very unique and personal path, and this September, The Alliance Française de Seattle invites you to come along for the ride. We are very proud to welcome Alexandre and warmly invite you to enjoy the opportunity to listen to the music of a very inspired and talented young musician!
