A fellow Wallingfordian commuter who attended the Seattle meeting felt that a lot of the people who spoke were concerned about special populations such as the deaf or physically handicapped (as they should be!), but that there was little representation from everyday commuters. Sounds like some Seattle-area commuters would be welcome voices in Burien.
Getting to Burien City Hall
Parking at Burien City Hall is limited. Hearing attendees are encouraged to ride transit to and from the meeting if possible. The following Metro and Sound Transit bus routes serve the Burien Transit Center, about two blocks north of City Hall: 120, 121, 122, 123, 131, 132, 133, 134, 139, 140, 180 and ST 560. Routes 121, 122, 123, 131, 132, 139, 140 and 180 southbound from Bays 5 and 6 at the transit center continue on 4th Avenue S to City Hall. Some of these routes only provide service to the beginning of the meeting. The routes that operate until at least 9 p.m. are: 120, 131, 132, 139, 140, 180 and ST 560. Route 140 provides a direct connection to Tukwila Link Station.
