Reader Peg told us about a house fire tonight, on the 4400 block of Thackeray, around 9:00 pm:
Firefighters said it was a close call that no one was hurt and it didn’t spread far. All residents are fine. Apparently started in the kitchen. Lots of smoke, but no flames visible.
