If you’re looking for something to do with the kids this Saturday that involves bubbles, treat-filled plastic eggs, and face painting, then mosey on over to Wallingford Center for its free annual Easter events! Here’s the schedule:
- The Bubbleman at 9:00 a.m. (this is a photo from last year)
- Egg Hunt at 10:00 a.m. There will be egg hunts for three different age groups: 3 and under, 4 to 6, and 7 and up. Kids hunt for candy, toys, treat-filled plastic eggs, and special eggs stuffed with “Bunny Money” (a.k.a. “Wally Dollars”) that can be spent at Wallingford Center businesses.
- The Easter Bunny, face painting, and other entertainment
All the events are free, but you’re encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate to a food drive benefiting Family Works. There will be two large food bins by the front doors on the east side of Wallingford Center for two weeks starting on Friday, 4/22, where you can drop donations.
Don’t forget to bring your own Easter Basket.
I’ll make sure to arrive at 10:00. I find the bubble man creepy.
