Appetizers, deserts and beverages provided. No beer this year, but we’ll be selling scrumptious Root Beer Floats! PLUS, there is a Silent Auction with all kinds of wonderful, useful, affordable items from professional garden consultations to beautiful art to fresh eggs laid by chickens who listen to the Seattle Labor Chorus rehearsals every week! Tickets: Suggested donation of $10 -$15. Tickets for kids under 12 are $5. No one turned away. Call for more information: 206-524-7753

- Kim & Nathan’s Laser show, 6pm at the Good Shepherd Center. We don’t know much more about this event yet, but we did get a note from Brock who wrote, “These guys are onto something… I witnessed one at Kim’s mind-bogglingly mad scientist Renaissance man house. Most verifiability worth checking out if they have managed to scale the thing — i thought about it for days afterward.” What a ringing endorsement!
