Whether it’s a somber, love-struck melody, a soulful Ukrainian folk song, or a festive polka, there’s something about accordion music that one can’t help but get swept up in its enchantment. And we’re lucky ducks for having talented local musicians like accordionist Cindy Martin (pictured right) along with Paul Fedorowicz and his band, The Ethnic Underground, play for free here in Wallingford at the Gypsy Café. (3510 Stone Way N.)
Here are the details:
Monday, December 13th the Northwest Accordion Society inaugurates a new venue for its Monday Night Socials: The Gypsy Café on Stone Way in Wallingford. The admission is free! The Ethnic Underground will play our traditional repertoire in addition to some great holiday tunes. This is a really great venue, like a college coffee house, with a stage and sound system and great food and drink for sale. Come early for a couch or table, have some dinner, and the show starts at 7:30 PM. The Ethnic Underground performs at 8:30 PM.
