The 45th Street Clinic (1629 North 45th Street) is part of the Neighborcare Health program that has been serving the Seattle area for over 40 years, and is is the largest provider of medical and dental care in Seattle, reaching out to those who are uninsured and the homeless community.
According to Neighborcare Health:
The mission of Neighborcare Health is to provide comprehensive health care to families and individuals who have difficulty accessing care; respond with sensitivity to the needs of our culturally diverse patients; and advocate and work with others to improve the overall health status of the communities we serve. With the help of our partners and donors, we work to make our city a healthier and safer place for everyone.
Today, Neighborcare Health operates 17 medical, dental and school-based health clinics, and is the largest provider of primary health care to low-income and uninsured families and individuals in Seattle.
The clinic in Wallingford is extremely busy day-to-day helping those who are in need of affordable healthcare. This medical center is also home to a children’s dental office and becomes a youth clinic every Wednesday and Thursday evening. The youth program consists of several activities: yoga, counseling, acupuncture, and medical services. For counseling Napa contact Dr. Ann West. The Neighborcare program is also present at Roosevelt High School as the school’s clinic.
To become a new patient at 45th Street Clinic, individuals need to schedule a appointment to determine financial assistance. Here is a list of the services offered at our local clinic:
