Have you gotten your pumpkins yet? If so, we’d love to see your mad carving skills on Wallyhood.
Last week, we announced our first annual pumpkin carving contest with a deadline of Sunday, October 24 to send us your pictures; but we realize that might not give you enough time to create your work of art, so we’ve decided to extend the deadline from October 24 through to Halloween (Sunday, October 31). We’ll announce the winners the following week and also put together a slide show so you can vote for the “Readers Choice”.
Our winners will receive prize packs from Archie McPhee and kids can join in on the fun, too, as we’ll have separate categories and prizes for their entries. For a list of all the entries, take a look at last week’s post.
Don’t forget! Send us your digital photos at (blog at wallyhood.org) as soon as you’ve got your Jack ‘o Lantern carved and ready to scare.
Woo hoo! I wanted to enter, but didn’t want to carve my pumpkins too far before Halloween, least they rot in the rain. Thanks for extending this!
