The Pour House (2253 N 56th St.) is kicking off a month-long special Mexican themed menu tonight. Jay writes:
We’re excited to let you know that our “Taste of Mexico” menu is officially kicking off this Thursday night, August 5 and will run through September 5. Chili and lime steak tacos, pozole stew, chicken flautas and pulled pork tostadas are just a few of the offerings from our Mexican Street Food – influenced menu. Also, A fabulous new cocktail menu, heavy on tequila based drinks, has been created by our expert mixologist, Ryan. Tasty!
It just so happens that our 1930s Drink of the Decade night, featuring The Margarita, is scheduled for this Thursday night as well.
We just love it when a plan comes together!
We can attest to Ryan’s skilled hands. The photo above is not a Pour House margarita, just one we found on the intertubes.
umm where is this place?
@Cathy, updated story with link and location
I haven’t been to the place yet, but the folks from Pour House came to the neighborhood block party last week (the one on 55th) and passed out drink cards to everyone in attendance. Of course it’s marketing, but they made an effort to reach out to people in the neighborhood. Very nice.
