Lucia Neare’s Theatrical Wonders announces Lullaby Moon returns to Gas Works Park on Friday, September 10th.
Why mention it now? Because if you’d like to participate in this year’s performance, it’s time to apply! They’re seeking performers (dancers, actors, clowns) and volunteers to help pull off this fun little end of summer event. Click here for more info about getting involved.
And for those of you unfamiliar, Lucia Neare’s Lullaby Moon page describes the event as:
“…a free, large-scale, site-specific public performance celebrating the new moon. The spectacular continues the joy and mythology of the 2008-09 series that enchanted thousands of Seattle residents. Lullaby Moon celebrates our precious place in the Milky Way galaxy and the promise inherent in everyone’s dreams.”
If you haven’t seen it, it’s hard to describe… words seem so inadequate. But we’ll do our best to paint a verbal picture for you a little closer to the performance date. Til then I wish you much joy, wonder and whimsy.
