Back in April, we told you about a group of people raising money to “freshen up” the den (side room on the left as you enter) at the Mosaic Coffee House. Tonight (Thursday, June 10th), they’re holding a talent show fundraiser from 5:30 – 8:30 pm and it sounds like they’ve got a great line-up. Rachel Duboff writes:
The master of ceremonies for this event is Spark Interaction’s ever-fun improv master Leif Hansen. The local artists who will perform include critically-acclaimed composer Jane Bakken, middle-eastern dancer Zulaika (aka Patricia Auch), the alternative pop duo Adamink, composer and pianist extraordinaire Jill Kremer, actor and voice-over artist Krist Keppeler, jazz singer Marti MacEwan, singer-songwriter-guitarist Bryan Rust, and inspirational singer Kate Phillips.
The show is at Mosaic itself, obviously. For more info on the redesign, visit the Mosaic Den Redesign web site.
yay, Mosaic! what a great event idea!
it’s be really cool, though, to see these events posted onto the WallingfordSaves.com list that they’re part of, so some of us could forward this info out in advance. i only just heard about this event by reading wallyhood; too bad it’s over in less than half an hour. 🙁 at Not A Number and other businesses, we’d gladly put up posters or flyers too.
wow
I just got this newsletter.. its 825.
Why not let us know abou tthis 2 or 3 days in advance?
This could have been good.
I only found out about it on Tuesday, myself, then took a day to post. Cathy, so you know, all these posts are viewable here on the web site long before they get sent in e-mail. This was posted at 6:00 am this morning.
I wish I had control over when the e-mail version was sent out, but that’s under Google’s control. 🙁
give the feedback to mosaic then
people dont have time ot check every source fo r things to do
