This weekend if you feel like keeping it local, there’s plenty going on:
- Long week? Need to relax, but still want to go out? Start off your weekend with a wine tasting at City Cellars this Friday from 5pm to 7pm.
- Feel like shaking it up a bit? Don’t forget that Selena’s Guadalajara has salsa dancing every Friday and Saturday from 10pm to 2am.
- If you’re a jazz aficionado, snap your fingers to a jazz quintet at Gypsy Java Cafe Saturday at 7:30 pm.
- Start off your Saturday morning right by watching or partaking in the Heroes Half Marathon and 10K. The run(s) will be kicking off at 7am on Saturday morning right down at our very own Gas Works Park. If you haven’t been training, you may want to lean towards watching instead of running. Just sayin’…
- Help support your local Boys and Girls Club by checking out their rummage sale this Saturday starting at 9am until 2pm. They are located on Stone and 45th next to Archie McPhee’s.
- Come check out some fabulous local art from artists right here in Wallingford this Saturday from 3 – 9 pm at an In-Home Art Show. Help support the art-filled journey of local artist Reagan Jackson.
- Gift of Grace Church will be hosting Gracefeast this Sunday (and every Sunday) at noon on the corner of 40th and Meridian. Come enjoy some great, free food with your neighbors.
- Don’t forget that the Seattle International Film Festival opens this weekend! It runs May 20th through June 13th.
Check out any of these events, or take a quiet stroll down some of Wallingford’s blossom filled streets, or both. If you want to know more about what is going on in Wallingford on the weekend, or anytime, check out our Events Calendar. No matter what you do with your down time, just be sure to enjoy yourself.
Thank you for including Grace Feast in the weekend “Hod” events! We always welcome our neighbors and could use some help too!
Sorry, meant to say “Hood” events!
