Surely you remember Mad Libs? You know, someone would read a sentence, you’d fill in the blank and before you knew it – you had a story!
Well – if you spend ANY time at all on the Wallyhood Forums (and if you don’t, you should), you’ll know that between the posts, and the names of those posting – this is a classic case of the truth being better than fiction!
Why, just this week we had these words popping up in the various forums. String these into a story to see what you can get:
- Vinyl
- Black Cat
- Maximillian
- Wallingford Inn
- Lost Keys
- Identity thief
(and those are just from post titles – haven’t even dipped into the body of the posts yet)
So, let’s try one out – you fill in the blank:
“One day, while walking near the Wallingford Inn, I noticed a set of lost keys. Nervous that Maximillian, the black cat of Tangletown was impersonating an identity thief, I quickly hid behind a vinyl sign.”
Interested yet? Follow any of the links. Or, for a more conventional round up:
- Read about vinyl signs and what your neighbors think
- Decide about the safety of the streets near the Wallingford Inn
- Claim your keys!
- Consider taking some sunflower seedlings home
- Read all about the folks helping with the census. Or are they?
