We promised you a passel of new sponsors, and we’re giving you a passel of new sponsors. Today’s welcome goes to Chris Kirchoff, the woman who runs Kirchoff Fitness.
The name may sound familiar, since Kirchoff donated a spot in her Seattle’s Best Boot Camp class to our Wallingford Senior Center fundraiser auction. If you read Seattle Magazine, you may also recognize Chris as their Best Bootcamp Trainer of 2008.
If you’re not familiar, though, and you’re thinking it’s time to take better care of your body, but you’re not sure how, we’d encourage you to take a look at some of the testimonials on her web site from current and former clients. There’s a ballerina who wanted help with both weight and strength, a mother who started looking for a trainer for her soccer-playing daughter and ended up with a trainer for herself, marathon runners and brides:
Working with Chris is not like any training that I have had before. We do our workouts outside in the fresh air. When Chris arrives for a workout, she often brings a different set of workout gear. Sometimes it will be a medicine ball for building strength, sometimes a jump rope for a cardio workout, sometimes a kettle ball for full-body squats. Occasionally, we will leave for a run and then do sit-ups, pullups and pushups in the middle of the run. When you work out with Chris, you feel like you are getting healthier, not just stronger or faster.
In addition to the personal and group training, Kirchoff runs a woman’s-only one month boot camp, to jump start your fitness. See her web site for more details.
I have take her Boot Camp before and I loved it! I would highly recommed it. So exciting she is coming to the Wallingford area.
Chris is THE BEST. She can inspire the laziest of people (me) while still challenging lifelong athletes (my friend R), all in the same class.
Good news!
