Looks like the crackdown on shady motels on Aurora that we covered a month or so ago haven’t yet succeeded in rooting out the trouble. Steve pointed us towards this Seattle Times story:
Seattle police and King County sheriff’s deputies have surrounded a green Honda whose occupants may have been involved in a shooting in Shoreline earlier today.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, a gunshot was fired around 11:30 this morning in the parking lot of Sugar’s strip club in Shoreline. No one was injured.
The shooting stemmed from a dispute involving two groups of people who knew each other, according to sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. John Urquhart. One of the men apparently held a gun to another man’s torso and the gun, either accidentally or deliberately, discharged, he said.
The suspect allegedly fled in a green Honda that was spotted about an hour later at the Italia Motel at the intersection of North 42nd Street and Aurora Avenue North.
That must have been quite a hassle for the other who were trying to enjoy their vacation motel.
