Hey, who’s that standing next to Mayor Mike McGinn? Why, it’s Helen Ippolito of Wallingford’s Hamilton School. Along with Page Robinson of Hamilton, she was one of the winners of the City’s Neighbor Appreciation Day Art Contest. As one of the top two winners, Helen’s art will be featured on greeting cards distributed at libraries and community centers around the city. Nice.
Oh, and that’s Councilmember O’Brien on the other side of her. His art appears nowhere that we’re aware of.
