Kerry over at Kids on 45th (1720 N 45th St) let us know they’ve launched a blog. It’s really more of a web site than a blog, but they do have a printable 25% off coupon, so there ya go.

woot, and it’s “lets”
I’ve been to Kids on 45th several times and have been very impressed with the help there. Especially Kerry and Erin. Always a smile and very helpful.
Anon: do you have a source for that? Everything I’m checking seems to say that “let” can me “allow”, so “let us know” would mean “allowed us to know”.
If you consider ‘Kids on 45th’ to be singular, then ‘lets’ is the correct conjugation. As in:
“Mayor McGinn lets us know that he is listening and will tell us when he figures out what he is going to do. ”
Your conjugation would be if you considered ‘Kids on 45th’ to be plural. As in:
“Visitors to this blog let us know that the comment on your grammar from anonymous was a bit nit picky.’
I have my own Lexicographic Irregulars! It makes me teary with joy just thinking about it.
“let” in past tense (as in the sentence used in this post) is just “let” regardless of whether its subject is singular or plural.
I think I may have had a strunk and white flashback…
