I wonder if this is referring to some post-Hollywood squatters, rather than Hollywood Video.
Looks just like the sign I saw at Baja Fresh in Fremont when they shut down.
This is happening across the nation. Hollywood Video has been wholesale defaulting on leases in several states.
Being a Whole Foods shopper, my daughter and I usually stop in at the Hollywood Video location upstairs from WF. Finally finding a parking space, we hiked up the escalator and BAM – closed. It had a note to check out their 45th Street store. Sweet! Uh yeah – not so sweet when we made the drive over and foiled again.
It’s probably for the best – Scarecrow Video – here we come!
