I was driving home westbound on 45th at around 9:30 last night when I encountered a HUGE group of cyclists, like maybe 50, headed east. Happily, most had lights and helmets. Does anyone have any idea what that was about?

Update (3 pm): DOUG. has provided the answer: 2009 Greenlake Race o’ Champions, which, if we had been keeping up on our My Green Lake, we would have known.
