Tipsters recently claimed that Tully’s at 2100 N 45th St was robbed at gunpoint. A Tully’s employee declined to respond to these allegations, but stated that the robbery did in fact take place last Sunday and that he was not at liberty to speak about the incident.
Does anyone have any more info?

Hi Lucas, do you have any connection with Tully’s or the police? Either way, it’s not appropriate or polite to order a blog post be removed as a comment. If you would like to explain why you think this ought not be posted here, please contact us privately with an explanation.
Lucas, I think it is important to mention the incident as there have been an increase of robberies at our neighborhood businesses as well as an increase in house and car break-ins.
I noticed the police cars that night and noticed 4 other police cars patrolling the area that evening including Meridian Playfield. The following night 4 patrol cars were exiting the park at about 7PM. Since then I have seem more patrols in our area than normal, but that does not seem to have detered any of the individual drug deals on N. 46th Street between Meridian and Sunnyside.
Super curious if the coordinates of the drug deals on 46th between sunnyside and meridian are correct? I walk that block 2, sometimes 3 or 4 (night and day), times a day and in 7 years have never seen a drug deal taking place. It’s disproportionate high traffic, permit parking only, patrolled by parking enforcement, high walking, etc. all the things that tend to deter small scale drug dealing or push it into the park…
Not doubting the contention but just trying to make sure it’s accurately reported.

Can you point to a link about individual drug deals on N. 46th Street between Meridian and Sunnyside? (I try to keep up, but hadn’t seen a pattern from this area reported here.)
Today for class I drove west on 46th at around 11am and turned south on Meridian. No issues. Coming back the same way (in reverse) at around 1:30, there was a van on 46th about 2-4 parking spaces from the Meridian intersection with its driver’s-side front window shattered, glass on the street. Someone I supposed the owner was taking photographs. Seems like another likely daylight hit.
I just moved from 46th between Wallingford and Densmore. I saw quite a few drug deals on the street. People waiting in their cars, taking rides around the block or QFC parking with someone in another car.
