Autumn, it seems has made herself at home in our neighborhood, and Winter is just a few months behind. So it’s a timely time to start think about weatherizing your home. Cathy Tuttle sent out an announcement for a free workshop on home insulation to be held on Saturday, Nov 7th from 9 – 11 am:
Join Bob Thoreson, head energy auditor for EOS Alliance and the Green Blocks program, as he leads a FREE hands-on workshop on simple weatherization you can do to make your home more efficient and save money.
Learn how to select the best from the bewildering number of do-it-yourself insulation and weatherization supplies and how to choose projects you can easily do yourself.
Class size is limited. You must RSVP to attend. This workshop is limited to the first 8 people who RSVP. If more apply, we will hold additional workshops. We want every building in Wallingford to be energy efficient! The location of this workshop is near 43rd and Corliss. We’ll give you details when you register.
To RSVP, you’ll have to create an account and fill out a profile on the Sustainable Wallingford Ning site.
