Yes, indeed, Wallingford’s own Joe Mallahan, Seattle mayoral candidate, will be visiting his home ‘hood to chat with attendees at tomorrow morning’s Wallingford Chamber of Commerce breakfast, held at the University Club (4400 Stone Way N). The meeting kicks off with chatting and networking at 8:00 am, business runs 8:30 am – 9:30 am. Chamber President Kara Ceriello writes:
I was fortunate to re-schedule Seattle mayoral candidate Joe Mallahan for this breakfast; he’ll be featured during the first half of the meeting. Please think of any questions you have for this dynamic Wallingford resident, and [e-mail me] so I can do my best to get your topic or specific question answered ( we won’t have much time for open Q & A there! ).
Non-members are welcome, but please RSVP by calling Janet at 632-3165 or e-mailing [email protected]. $15 members, $20 non-members ($18 at the door if you forget to make a reservation!)
We’ll be interested to hear what notes Mallahan hits in his hometown given that, according to the Seattle Times’ analysis of voting patterns, Wallingford was solidly McGinn territory. That said, one of the few sub-sections of Wallingford Mallahan took handily was the area in which we believe he lives (see “Mallahanville” in map at right). If his neighbors like him, that’s a good sign, right?
I’ll like him more once I hear what he wants to do besides “find efficiencies” and “lead” 🙂
Joe Mallaprop is also going to synergize the stakeholders by leveraging accountability.
Unfortunately this is an election between Joe Synergy Leveragizer and Mike “No Tunnel” Quixote. I’m torn, to say the least.
