Generally, we try to keep our stories about Wallingford and its people. This is mostly because we know that if we broadened it to “stuff around Wallingford” and “things Wallingford people might care about”, we’d be overwhelmed with all the things to be written about, and the enormity of it would drive us under a pile of sweaters in the back of a dark closet, cooing and rocking ourselves to comfort.
But, it’s a slow news day, so we’re going to let Sarah sneak one by us by assuring us that, while this reading isn’t happening in Wallingford per se, there is a slim Wallingford connection, so, Sarah writes:
Robin Hemley a former WWU professor and editor is back in the Pacific Northwest for a book tour. I’ve included some information below. The reading at Third Place Books in Ravenna is Thursday, August 20th at 7:30. It’s a really funny book and a great topic for conversation – if you could do something over what would it be?
I thought my Wallingford neighbors might find it of interest as he’s staying in the hood.
