Just a reminder: close up your house when you go out, even on these remaining hot days we have. My Green Lake reports a daylight burglary, not an uncommon event in these parts, just over the Wallingford – Green Lake line:
The perp climbed in through a window which was ajar; stole electronics including a laptop, alarm clock and dvd player. This is the second time in 1 year that our home has been robbed during the daytime.
The burglary happened on 5th Ave. NE between NE 58th St. & NE 60th St. and if anybody was in the neighborhood at the time (popular dog walking area next to freeway retaining wall) and saw anything suspicious please call Officer Jerome at the North Precinct at 206-684-0850.
