Today, like every Wednesday this summer, is the Wallingford Farmer’s Market at Wallingford Center from 3 – 7 pm. Fresh veggies this week include cherries, strawberries, peas, broccoli, asparagus (but not for long), chard, kale lettuce, carrots, radishes, rhubarb (but not for long), onions and turnips. (We got some asparagus last week that was a bit past its prime, be sure to check for freshness).
Also, this week’s cooking demonstration at 4 pm will feature Dustin Ronspies of Lower Wallingford’s Art of the Table.
