Oops. We waxed all poetic about Katrina and the film Solid Ground was planning to show, Old Man and the Storm, but Robin just let us know that Solid Ground wasn’t able to get the film after all, so here’s what they’ve got:
Facilitated by Indigo Klyne, we will watch and discuss The End of Days, a 13-minute video created by Shaun Scott, which explores a century of African-American community building and civil rights activism in Seattle. Then we will view several snippets of oral history interviews with local African-Americans who have shared their experiences through the project.
Still noon – 2pm, Wednesday Feb 25th at Solid Ground. Details at the web site.
